Morality
Most people who believe in the existence of God, also believe that Non-Believers are corrupt people without any sense of morality. This is a huge misconception that people have about atheists and agnostics, and it must be wiped out.
Most Non-Believers around the world are frightened to tell their friends and loved ones that they do not believe in God and this fear is due to the fact that people are still heavily discriminating against the Non-Religious community.
Ignorance is blinding and most theists have not looked at the evidence atheists and agnostics have seen.
Come to think about it most theists have not even read their own holy books such as the Bible, Qu'ran etc.
There are millions if not billions of people who follow their faiths blindly without examining the scientific evidence, and then shun those who go against their beliefs.
When most people hear that someone is an atheist all of a sudden that person is seen with a dark and gloomy aura, and is usually casted aside by other members of society. This is seen at work places and schools and I bet that in most places there are non-believers who simply act as if they believe in God to not disturb the work, school, or home environment.
Non-Believers are Moral
- Respect and Honor their fellow brothers and sisters
- Since there is no such thing as Gods Plan, Non-Believers understand that there are ups and downs to life and that certain occurrences are inevitable
- Since Non-Believers do not believe in a known afterlife, they understand the importance of living life to the fullest since you only have one
- Non-Believers have the benefit of being friends with any person of any culture without thinking they have to save them and convert them to a certain religion because if they do not convert they will go to hell
- Non-Believers accept others for who they are, and encourage others to think for themselves
- Non-Believers have freed themselves from the false hope of heaven and the great fear of hell. Any Non-Believer can tell you that losing both is a huge reward
- Non-Believers do good deeds because they want to, not because they are trying to please a God
- Non-Believers experience LOVE differently than others because they have the ability to forgive, and do good out of free will unlike religious people who do it because it is mandated
- Non-Believers do not commit atrocities in an attempt to please an imaginary being (9/11)
- Non-Believers understand the importance of lending a helping hand in the short time that we have here on earth
- Non-Believers are not ashamed to change their minds because they understand that as science advances, knowledge changes
- Non-Believers fight in self defense, but will not instigate or start a fight
